- Maintain compliance with NPDES and local permit requirements to discharge wastewater.
- Record Keeping and Data Management
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of water and wastewater treatment plant operations.
- Laboratory Testing and Analysis
- Perform PADEP and Borough required laboratory testing.
- Obtain and analyze wastewater samples for local and state permits.
- Inventory Management and Cost Control
- Maintain an accurate inventory of chemicals, tools, and equipment used in the WWTP.
- Ensure cost control of materials to stay within budget.
- Team Leadership and Communication
- Supervise WWTP employees and provide guidance on daily work tasks.
- Monitor and approve hours worked in payroll system.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid PA Wastewater License or obtain within one year of employment.
- 2 years Supervisory experience.
- 2 years of Wastewater Plant Operations experience.
- 1 year of General Laboratory Skills.
- Strong computer skills.
