About the Position

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cafeteria Associate to join our team at Wise Staffing Group in Chattanooga, TN. As a Cafeteria Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria services.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for assisting with food preparation, inventory management, and adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and serve food for hospital guests, patients, and employees in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  2. Assist with food preparation, including cooking, baking, and assembling menu items.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafeteria, kitchen, and serving areas.
  4. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  5. Provide friendly and efficient customer service to guests and staff, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional manner.
  6. Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, rotating products, and monitoring food supplies.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices is essential.
  • You must be vaccinated and able to provide proof of vaccination records due to the proximity to sick patients.
