Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team and ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients. If you are passionate about patient care, we want you to be part of our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and perform X-rays in accordance with established protocols for patient safety and care.
  • Develop and process radiographic films and send them to a Radiologist for evaluation.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure timely transfer of images and documents to the PACS system, maintaining image quality and accurate patient data.
  • Maintain cleanliness and prepare the examination room using aseptic techniques between patients.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology.
  • Must comply with ARRT guidelines, obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.
  • ARRT Registered with ARRT - RT(R) or Registry eligible (must obtain registration within one year of program completion).
  • BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
