Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Plasterer to join our team at Walnut Capital Management. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of our residential properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply paint with brush, roller, spray can, sprayer, or other applicable paint applicators to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Fills nail holes, patches cracks, fills open seams/joints, etc. with caulking, putty, plaster, or other filler to ensure a smooth surface.
  • Background with latex and oil-based paints and primers, as well as wood-staining, is essential for this role.
  • Remove and replace drywall as needed to ensure a secure and stable surface.
  • Experience with multiple variations of wall damage is preferred, as well as hand tools such as flat-head/phillips-head screw drivers, hammers, etc.
  • Operate power tools such as multi-tools, circular saws, power drills, nail guns, etc. with precision and care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High-school or equivalent (preferred)
  • Drivers license (required)
  • 1-3 years of painting experience (residential and/or commercial) preferred, not required

  • 1-3 years of plaster/drywall experience preferred, not required

Work Environment
  • This is a physically demanding position. Most of the day will be spent on your feet.
