Position Summary

At LPT Retail Management Services, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers daily. As a Fuel Transaction Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing significant diesel fuel transactions while ensuring accuracy in handling various payment methods, including cash, checks, and credit cards.

In this role, you will be expected to efficiently multitask while processing customer transactions that may involve merchandise sales, truck scale operations, shower reservations, and various forms of communication. Familiarity with these processes will be beneficial. This position demands strong communication skills, cash handling expertise, and a commitment to personal grooming standards. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours during a shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill all assigned shift responsibilities.
  • Safeguard company assets, prioritizing safety for yourself, coworkers, and customers.
  • Respond promptly to spills or hazardous conditions.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Store Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, deli equipment, and merchandise displays, including dusting, window cleaning, and trash disposal.
  • Report any situations or policy breaches that may negatively impact store operations to the Store Manager.
  • Keep the premises tidy by sweeping, shoveling snow, cleaning gas pumps, and replenishing water and cleaning solution buckets.
Required Qualifications
  • Proficient in reading, understanding, and writing English at an eighth-grade level, with the ability to comprehend spoken instructions.
  • Competent in eighth-grade level mathematics for making change, completing shift reports, and managing product counts during vendor check-ins.
  • Capability to lift up to 80 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
