Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as an Administrative Assistant - Procurement. As a member of our Business Operations Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient administration of contracts and procurement within the department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative tasks, including preparing and releasing Request for Quote (RFQ) documents, communicating with program requestors and vendors, and maintaining procurement-related files and records. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in creating Purchase Orders in FI$Cal and following established desk procedures to place Business Card Orders on the OSP online store.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have familiarity with general office procedures and processes, exceptional customer service skills in a professional office setting, proficiency in MS Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe Software, consistent attendance, punctuality, and a professional demeanor. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is also essential.
