Manual Inspector Trainee

The Manual Inspector Trainee is an entry-level position responsible for conducting manual inspections of products using visual methods to detect defects, particulates, and other imperfections.

Trainees must pass a Visual Inspection Qualification Test and demonstrate proficiency in operating automated inspection equipment before advancing to the Inspection Machine Operator I role.

• Perform manual inspections of vial, ampoule, and syringe containers to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Accurately complete all documentation associated with tasks performed, including inspection reports and quality control records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and company standards.
• Follow directives issued by leads and supervisors, and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Meet education requirements and qualifications, including a high school diploma or equivalent and passing a Visual Inspection Qualification test within 89 days.

Specific vision requirements include 20/20 near vision, which can be corrected with eyeglasses or contacts, and color vision.

Able to stand and sit for extended periods, lift 10 pounds repeatedly, and occasionally lift 11-25 pounds.
