We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Charge Med Surg Ortho FT Nights to join our team at Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing patient care, unit activities, and staff performance on an assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities- Supports and evaluates patient care and unit needs during assigned shift
- Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients
- Monitors effectiveness and completion of unit assignments
- Evaluates staffing by considering mix of caregivers, patient volumes, patient acuity, and staff availability
- Communicates effectively with team members and others
- Seeks to proactively improve quality of services provided and patient care outcomes
- Serves as unit champion and resource to staff for quality and patient safety initiatives and issues
- Provides professional/technical/clinical/coaching support for nursing associates
- Assists and actively participates with nurse manager/director with quality projects and staff annual performance evaluations
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License
- Certificates Required: Required in area of clinical specialty within 3 years from ANCC or other approved credentialing entity
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work variable shifts, holidays, and/or weekends
