Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Childrens Hospital of Orange County.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures
- 2+ years of experience as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
- Current RN licensure in the state of California
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
- Knowledge of Cerner electronic medical record system
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
