Meat Counter Clerk Job Description

Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria is seeking a skilled Meat Counter Clerk to join our team. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, and ensuring the meat case presentation and backstock are impeccable.

Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
  • Keep meat case presentation and backstock impeccable.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Previous related experience and knowledge of meats preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, storage/handling.
  • Have open availability (Shifts are from 12pm-8:30pm).
  • Stand on feet for 8 hours, lifting and bending.
  • Be able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Requires ability to lift 25-50 pounds frequently.
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON THE WEEKENDS.
