Radiation Therapist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and skilled Radiation Therapist to work in Topeka, KS for 13 weeks. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records of patient information and procedure outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50-100lbs)
