We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at the University of Minnesota Physicians. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill and injured pediatric patients.

Your primary duties will include diagnosing and treating various medical emergencies, conducting thorough patient examinations, counseling patients and parents on treatment plans, and recording patient medical history. You will also recommend diagnostic testing based on medical history and physical examination, as well as evaluate and manage children and adolescents with mental health conditions, including those with addiction.

You will have opportunities to participate in academic activities, such as instructing courses on emergency procedures, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) training, and mock codes with simulations for residents and nurses. Additionally, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and updates for Emergency Department guidelines.
