About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technician to join our team at Brookings Health System.

As a Polysomnographic Technician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough polysomnographic tests and analysis, implementing necessary interventions under the supervision of a clinical director.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting sleep studies and analyzing results
  • Interacting with patients and doctors regarding procedures
  • Conducting Electroencephalogram tests with preparation for physician review

Requirements:

  • Completion of a polysomnographic program from a state licensed or nationally accredited educational institution
  • Prior experience of at least six months in polysomnography/healthcare is preferred
  • Registration from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists must be obtained within two months of joining
  • Current CPR/AED certification is a must
  • ACLS certification is desirable

Job Details:

  • Position: PRN
  • Work Schedule: 1-2 shifts weekly, based on availability and requirements
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility is essential

Salary: Commencing at $24.22 per hour, depending on your background and expertise.
