Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled Utility Aide to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. As a Utility Aide, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dining facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Utility Tasks: Assist with various utility tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and facilities, in accordance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
- Support Food Service Operations: Provide support to the food service team, including setting up and serving meals, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain Sanitation and Safety Standards: Ensure that all areas of the dining facilities are clean, sanitized, and free of hazards, in accordance with current laws and regulations.
- Education and Experience: Prior experience in food service or a related field is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
