Calibration Specialist

Vantage Calibrations seeks a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our calibration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our calibration services.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and repair a variety of instruments, including acoustical, chemical, electrical, fluid, mechanical, optical, and thermodynamic devices.
- Compile and record data from each instrument for review by other technicians and managers.
- Develop and implement practical recommendations for instrument calibration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless calibration services.
- Adhere to quality control procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Mathematical aptitude and technical writing skills.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
