Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of our internal Quality of Earnings (QoE) workbook, which is used to analyze hospital results and identify risks, opportunities, and adjustments.
- Transaction Support: Collaborate with business development, hospital sellers, and sell-side advisors to collect, analyze, and understand transaction-level detail in the hospital's historical financial results.
- Pro Forma Financials: Prepare pro forma financial results and forecast the next 24 months for both target acquisitions with input from our operations teams, insights from our existing platform, and analytics from our business intelligence team.
- Capex Projects: Prepare a pro forma forecast and calculate the five-year value creation for hospital capex projects with input from our operations teams, insights from our existing platform, and analytics from our business intelligence team.
- Vendor Analysis: Analyze hospital opex spending at the vendor level to determine continued efficiency in vendor selection and spend by opex category compared to other SVP hospitals in the same region.
- Communication: Clearly communicate financial results, risks, opportunities, and other relevant information to various teams throughout the organization, including executives, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA strongly preferred but not required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of similar work experience, preferably in public accounting, multi-site retail, healthcare, or other multi-location industry.
- Skills: Self-starter with strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights, and construct solutions. Excellent Excel skills and working with large amounts of data. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
