Job Title: Production Assistant/Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Assistant/Editor to join our team at TeamPeople. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing production and photography support to our producers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and ingest footage, final video projects, purchased images/clips, audio files, and other rich media into our Digital Asset Management system (DAM).
  • Assist on video and photography shoots, including set-up, teardown, and operation of video/photo, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Edit original content based on storyboard, creative brief, script, and outline of footage and shot list, transcript of interviews, collect materials, and create video projects to meet creative and overall objectives for clients' projects.
  • Deliver final video projects via FTP and/or post to video hosting sites.
  • Organize, manage, and order photo and video supplies.
  • Perform sizing and color adjustments and output paper photographs.
  • Maintain accurate project time recording using our Management Information System (MIS).
  • Handle multiple projects and deadlines and ensure high-quality work with a strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop), video hosting sites, and PC/MAC.
  • Familiarity with video and still photography equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of video codex.
  • Effective communication skills (face-to-face and written).
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, demonstrating initiative and focused determination.
  • Performs well under pressure and delivers on tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media/Journalism, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with digital asset management systems (preferably EditShare), video production, and shooting (still/video).
