General Overview
The responsibilities you will undertake:
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in assisting nursing personnel with patient care by executing specific duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, catering to identified age-specific groups. This role adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations as well as the standards set by accrediting bodies. You will actively engage in delivering exceptional customer service and uphold respectful relationships with all individuals.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
- Must be currently enrolled in a nursing program or have completed a nursing program within the last year without obtaining a Registered Nurse license.
- N/A
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
