- Therapy Implementation: Implement therapy plans and activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Preparation and Organization: Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to support client goals.
- Team Meetings and Planning: Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Education and Licensure: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field, and state licensure or certification as an SLPA.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork and Organization: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
