Key Responsibilities

  • Therapy Implementation: Implement therapy plans and activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Preparation and Organization: Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to support client goals.
  • Team Meetings and Planning: Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field, and state licensure or certification as an SLPA.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork and Organization: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
