We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in providing top-notch therapy services to children with special needs.

About the Job

This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping kids achieve their full potential. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental delays and Autism, and will be able to provide high-quality treatment services using various strategies, including sensory integration and assistive technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluation, planning, treatment, documentation, and professional communication to clients and families.
  • Implement programs such as Handwriting Without Tears and devise, implement, and revise relevant treatment plans and reports.
  • Advise parents, family members, and coworkers on program implementation and train other professionals in therapy delivery.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and work with clients in small groups to deliver therapy.
  • Write, review, and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for parents and other professionals.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience working with individuals with developmental delays and Autism.
  • State license and registration, FBI clearance, and CPR certification.
