Camp Outreach Job Summary
">- We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Camp Outreach representative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and coordinating recruitment efforts in Monett and surrounding areas, working closely with the CAMP Director. This includes organizing and participating in recruitment-related events through high schools, employers, and other organizations.
As a key member of our team, you will market Drury GO by meeting with organizations and industry representatives. You will utilize JRM (software) to recruit and track student inquiries.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and implementing recruitment and marketing strategies with the CAMP Program Director and staff.
- Presents to local leaders, agencies, and organizations.
- Frequently reports to the CAMP Director on numbers of contacts, leads, and contact information obtained.
- Monitors lead generation activities, including making initial contact with advisors and prospective students.
- Attends advisor meetings and trainings.
- Participates in training for JRM and other systems to improve planning and tracking of recruitment.
- Supports Drury GO and campus-wide enrollment initiatives as directed.
- Attends job fairs and other social and professional functions when appropriate.
- Fosters interaction and engagement between the university, students, families, and the greater community.
- Communicates and builds an emphasis on higher education.
- Provides day-to-day clerical support for the CAMP program, including staff assistance and registration support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 1-2 years related experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with reliable transportation.
- Experience with Web 2.0 technologies, such as social networking, podcasting, blogs, IM, and virtual worlds.
- Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and organize workload to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including courtesy and tact.
- Ability to solve problems and think critically and independently.
- Ability to handle deadlines and stressful situations in a calm and orderly manner.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing technology.
