We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Agent to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Agent, you will be responsible for security and loss prevention functions within the facility to achieve maximum shrink reduction and protection of company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol all areas of the buildings by foot and vehicle as required to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor security cameras and conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify potential risks.
  • Defuse disturbances and escort individuals from the property if necessary to maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct initial investigation reports and gather evidence as directed by security leadership to ensure thorough investigations.
  • Walk through and around the exterior of the buildings conducting safety hazard and security audits to identify potential risks.
  • Complete incident reports related to security and in collaboration with security leadership to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with security systems to ensure effective security measures.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights and/or weekends to meet business needs.
  • 1 year of security or loss prevention experience to demonstrate expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment to achieve goals.
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time and tolerate weather elements, including heat, cold, rain, snow and wind.
