Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents in various healthcare facilities
  • Supporting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and daily living activities
  • Monitoring residents and communicating any concerns to the nursing team
  • Taking vital signs and reporting any irregularities
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in resident areas
  • Assisting with the movement of residents
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to residents and their families
  • Communicating effectively with visitors and staff
  • Adhering to resident care plans
Qualifications
  • Current certification as a Patient Care Assistant
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic care procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
