About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Trainee to join our team at Fraser. As a Behavior Trainee, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement treatment plans for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to children with ASD, assisting them in increasing independence, skill development, self-care, safety, sensory processing, communication, and other areas.
  • Participate in family and caregiver training to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting children with ASD.
  • Observe and direct direct care staff to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Currently in a Master's program for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or have completed a Master's degree with the intention of pursuing a BCBA certification.
  • Passionate about working with children with special needs and committed to making a positive impact in their lives.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children, children with diverse needs, autism, or mental health diagnoses is highly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass a DHS background check and maintain reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion, with a focus on culturally responsive practice and internal self-awareness.
