Job Overview

Rosenbauer South Dakota, LLC is a leading manufacturer of fire equipment, and we are seeking an experienced Master Electrician to join our team as a Cab Electric Technician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running wire harnesses according to schematics, installing interior trim and soft ceiling, crimping and connecting wires and electrical components together, and adding switches as needed.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and technical ability, with a focus on low voltage electrical experience.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience, and opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run wire harnesses according to schematics.
  • Remove and reinstall interior trim and soft ceiling.
  • Crimp and connect wires and electrical components together.
  • Install related equipment into the cab.
  • Wire air pumps, dash components, and fuse box to complete electrical components within the cab.
  • Rout A/C lines and install vents in applicable places.
  • Install steps and illumination system along with other components on the floor of the cab apparatus.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong mechanical and technical ability required.
  • Low voltage electrical experience required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
