As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in our therapy department, working closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provides Physical Therapy services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Assists in the evaluation process, including self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination
  • Conducts individual and group treatment sessions as assigned by the Physical Therapist
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provides education and training to patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and exercises
  • Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience
