Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT machinery to create detailed images of patients' internal structures.
  • Position patients correctly for scans, utilizing necessary immobilization and safety equipment.
  • Adjust equipment settings as needed, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Assist radiologists during imaging procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast materials.
  • Evaluate and label CT images accurately for diagnostic purposes.
  • Manage patient scheduling and assist with administrative tasks related to imaging.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
  • Licensure may be necessary in certain states.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
