Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Independently assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve seamless transitions.
- Monitor and report patient progress to physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
- Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies and/or certification required as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree preferred.
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
