Position Overview

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences stands as a leading provider of systems engineering, software development, system integration, and project management services tailored for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are in search of highly skilled Lead Cybersecurity Systems Engineers to contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced defense initiatives. This role necessitates on-site engagement.

The selected engineer will collaborate closely with the Software Factory team to ensure that diverse cloud infrastructure platforms are effectively developed and operational for our clients. A government security clearance of SECRET or higher is mandatory, and work will be conducted at designated facilities. Regular travel may be required, and associated costs will not be reimbursed.

Qualifications
  • US Citizenship with a current DoD Secret clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years of experience
  • Possession of a DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security + CE)
  • Extensive systems administration experience, particularly in Windows/Linux environments
  • Recent experience with cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with agile software principles, especially in creating multi-year program roadmaps
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Ability to write or review software code
  • Willingness to work in a secure, in-person environment


Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Helm Charts and Ansible Technologies
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git and GitHub
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud orchestration technologies
  • Programming and scripting skills in UNIX and Windows environments
