About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Merit Health River Region. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including moderate and high complexity tests, according to established guidelines.
  • Schedule and manage time effectively to meet departmental productivity and efficiency standards.
  • Conduct instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures, and maintain records and statistical data as required.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • One year of medical laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent is required.
