Position Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector plays a vital role in upholding the cleanliness and quality standards of our properties. Reporting to the Regional Housekeeping Manager, this position is essential in delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Housekeeping Manager in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training programs for housekeeping staff to meet cleanliness, safety, and service expectations.
  • Foster a positive and professional atmosphere among team members and guests.
  • Establish performance goals aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational policies.
  • Guide team members in achieving daily cleaning objectives, ensuring all accommodations are ready by check-in time.
  • Prepare work assignments based on room occupancy and cleaning needs.
  • Delegate tasks and evaluate the quality of work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Notify management of rooms that are ready for guest occupancy.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance guest experiences and maintain a clean environment.
  • Keep guest rooms and public areas in pristine condition.
  • Implement procedures for handling lost and found items securely.
  • Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
  • Adjust staffing levels based on occupancy and event schedules.
  • Oversee the ongoing cleaning of carpets, drapes, and upholstery.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the housekeeping department.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items regularly.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and multitasking ability.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in Management or Hospitality is a plus.
