Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Sysco Central Florida. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand truck or other equipment as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to hours of service and weight limits.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record.
  • At least one year of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a local delivery role.
  • Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
