- Delegation: Delegate tasks to ancillary staff in accordance with nursing regulations.
- Professional Practice: Support and practice within the framework of professional nursing standards.
- Performance Improvement: Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and patient outcomes.
- Competency Maintenance: Complete all required competency assessments and participate in mandatory training sessions.
- Leadership: Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a valid nursing license.
- BSN is required for new hires.
- Knowledge of current nursing practices and trends.
- Preferred experience in acute care nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for all nurses.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the nursing specialty.
