About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Columbia, Missouri.

Job Details
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

This is an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Technologist to gain experience in a new environment and expand their skill set.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
