Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, providing remedial treatment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations of communication disorders in infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Provide remedial treatment in individual and group settings for communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Delegate caseload to therapists and oversee quality of care
  • Meet productivity standards and complete documentation in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current MA Speech Pathology license
  • Member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with a performance record that consistently exceeds expectations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with adult dysphagia evaluation and management
  • Modified Barium Swallow study experience
Work Environment

This position requires work indoors in a normal office and patient care environment. The standard staffing level responsibilities include complying with departmental policies, attending meetings, and demonstrating use of Quality Improvement in daily operations.
