Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lube Technician to join our team at Auto Inc. in West Texas Nissan - Odessa, TX. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes.
  • Conduct general housekeeping duties, including cleaning the bay area, oil drains, and oil filter buckets.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop area, including accounting for all dealership-owned tools.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
Requirements
  • Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Pass a background review and negative drug screen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and personal initiative.
  • Ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle and use hand and power tools safely.
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations and mechanical skills.
  • Aptitude to retain new information and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment.
  • Rotate equipment, vehicles, elevators, lifts, and tow-lines frequently.
  • Exposed to fumes, chemicals, solvents, and caustics.
  • Exposed to extreme temperatures.
