Job Summary:

ONEOK is seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our team in pipeline operations. As a Measurement Technician, you will be responsible for performing measurement functions, including installing, testing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining orifice, positive, Coriolis, Ultrasonic, and dry flow meters, regulator settings, telemetering systems, electronic flow computers, odorant systems, and relief valves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain measurement and regulation equipment

• Perform measurement, sampling, and regulation operations and maintenance at facilities

• Calibrate and maintain test instrumentation and auxiliary equipment

• Drive and ensure maintenance of company vehicle

• Effective interaction with corporate measurement personnel and adherence to corporate measurement procedures

• Prepare reports, including job orders and completion reports, meter and regulator installation and/or removal, equipment and operational tests, repairs, and maintenance, DOT compliance reports, sample reports, and batch tickets

Requirements:

• Training and/or experience relative to meter testing and installation, regulating flow and pressure, company and governmental operating/safety procedures, servicing/repairing measuring station equipment, interpretation of measurement data, characteristics of product handled, and experience in reading and interpreting maps, plats, atlas pages, dials, gauges, sample reports, drawings, procedures, correction tables, and applicable operation and safety manuals

• Ability to install, test, repair, and maintain measurement and regulation equipment, use, maintain, and repair tools and equipment used to regulate flow of gas, apply basic arithmetic, communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions, climb and maintain balance on ladders, work in confined areas, react immediately to emergency situations, operate tools and equipment as required, travel over uneven terrain, and operate a company vehicle

• Employee is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions

• Well-lighted, climate-controlled areas, outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, dust, fumes, gases, moving mechanical parts, potential electric shock, prolonged exposure to vibration, high-pitched noises/loud noises, unprotected heights, frequent repetitive motion, and CRT (Computer Monitor(s))
