Job Description

Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC is seeking a skilled Industrial Truck Driver to join their team. This role involves operating vacuum trucks and performing manual labor tasks such as moving hoses and off-loading at facilities.

Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC provides heavy industrial cleaning services to various industries, including utilities, phosphate/mining, chemical plants, and manufacturing facilities. Our team is dedicated to delivering customized solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vacuum trucks and equipment on site and move equipment to other job sites as assigned.
  • Participate in practical and manual activities daily.
  • Assist technicians with work on the job site.
  • Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
  • Operate light and heavy equipment including blasting equipment, hoses, etc.

Requirements:

  • Class A or Class B CDL License required.
  • Tanker Endorsement required.
  • Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
  • Experience in the industry is a plus.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse.
  • Must be able to pass a background check/drug test.
  • A clean driving record is required for this position.
  • Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
  • Required to work in confined spaces, elevated spaces, and hot, wet, cold, and foul-smelling environments during an 8–12-hour shift while holding various sizes of vacuum hoses.
  • Ability to use a respirator in environments where there may be exposure to chemicals, fumes, etc. May be required to be clean-shaven.
  • Ability to work over an 8-hour shift if required. May be called out for an Emergency response.
