Landscape Specialist

Shades of Green: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to lead our shrub and turf fertilization and pest control division. As a Landscape Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of lawn and landscape equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year.

In this role, you will communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management. You will apply fertilization, pest, disease, and weed control applications safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will also include diagnosing and treating existing turf and shrub issues during routine inspections, creating and presenting bids with estimated costs of services, assisting with materials ordering, and identifying turf and shrub problems. Additionally, you will operate and maintain truck and equipment to complete routes.

We require previous experience as a Certified Pest Operator or in a similar position. A high school diploma/GED is preferred. You must have the physical ability to perform job duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols when dealing with potentially hazardous materials. Finally, you will need to maintain detailed records of payment and chemicals used.
