We are seeking a skilled Counselor I to join our Behavioral Health team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary

The Counselor I will work under the supervision of a Physician and clinical team to assist with establishing a diagnosis and therapy plan. This will involve gathering and documenting data necessary to implement the therapeutic plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks under the supervision of the Physician and clinical team
• Assist with gathering and documenting data necessary to implement the therapeutic plan of care
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Act 31 training completion required within 45 days of hire
