Job Summary

A licensed paramedic with experience in emergency medical services is sought to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of the Emergency Department Physician and Unit manager. This role requires proficiency in all EMS skills and familiarity with various EMS training techniques.


Requirements
  • National Registration as an EMT Paramedic
  • South Dakota License as an EMT-Paramedic
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by Avera Health's automobile liability insurance carrier

Work Schedule

This position requires a varied schedule, including 72 hours every 2 weeks. The main ED shifts are available 6 weeks in advance, and call time is 1 shift every 6 weeks once fully trained.


Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $28.75 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent on experience.
