Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

About the Role

This full-time position involves assessing and treating patients with psychiatric conditions, as well as managing their medication and providing education on healthy coping mechanisms. You will work closely with other clinical staff and providers to develop individualized care plans that address each patient's unique needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of patient admission
  • Assess, treat, and manage psychiatric care for patients
  • Provide medication management and education on healthy coping mechanisms
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and update patient files as necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Master's degree from a nurse practitioner graduate program and hold valid NJ registered nurse; nurse practitioner license. Certification as a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner is also required, along with ANCC or AANP certification. DEA and CDS licenses are necessary, as is Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
