Small Fleet Mechanic

Job Summary:
Bronwick LLC is seeking a highly skilled Small Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs, diagnostic work, and preventative maintenance on small equipment and complete scheduled and unscheduled repairs based on work orders in the repair tracking system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small equipment, including inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs following company guidelines.
- Create and process work orders to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs.
- Document repair operations and time-tracking in accordance with company procedures to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist co-workers with diagnostics and repairs to ensure seamless team collaboration.
- Requisition parts through the Purchasing Department to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Conduct technical inspections and document findings to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Maintain repair order documentation to include repair description, parts used, and repair times.
- Perform monthly inventories as required to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in mechanical repair, including automotive, power equipment, refrigeration, and small engine repair.
- Or a technical degree with demonstrated knowledge of mechanical repair.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively communicate with team members and management.
- Must possess own tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification.
- At least one year of experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- College or technical school-level coursework in automotive maintenance.
Required Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid Class C driver's license to operate company vehicles.
- Safe driving record for the past three years.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation, including a base hourly rate of $23-$28, with a $2 differential for the 2nd shift and a $3 differential for the 3rd shift. Full benefits are also included.
