Job Summary

The Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving assigned sales goals for the hotel. This individual will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue growth and sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including existing and new business partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform sales decisions and optimize sales efforts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hotel sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients
  • Experience with professional selling skills, including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, with strong organization and presentation skills
