Job Summary

The Automotive Technician is a skilled professional responsible for performing complex vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential issues, and troubleshooting problems to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of automotive repair principles to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Perform skilled mechanical work, analyzing and diagnosing problems to identify root causes.
  • Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts, performing preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and techniques, continuously learning and adapting to new information.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, managers, and suppliers.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in auto service or engine diagnostics in a professional capacity.
  • ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
  • Must have Technician Tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
