Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing an efficient and exceptional dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Remove soiled dishes from previous shifts and prepare for cleaning
- Prepare and provide ice water according to established procedure
- Refill salt, pepper, and sugar shakers as needed
- Prepare milk pitchers and cold juices
- Assist with serving meals and filling drink glasses
- Clean counters, pick up dishes and utensils, and clean table tops
- Return soiled dishes and utensils to the kitchen and load the dishwashing machine
- Pick up paper and trash from the floor
- Check supply of coffee cups at the service window and replenish as needed
- Check windows, ledges, sills, refrigerator, milk cooler, ice machine, coffee urn, and tables for cleanliness
- Follow the cleaning schedule and perform daily tasks as assigned
- Must be at least 16 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills
