Cognos/TMI Developer Opportunity

A leading health services network in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Cognos/TMI Developer to join their team on a remote basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement complex information systems to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users and analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Maintain technical expertise in software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities, and networks.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining application design documents.
  • Respond to system failures and performance events to minimize downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in system analysis, system administration, and/or programming.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Cognos Analytics, IBM Planning Analytics Local, IBM Planning Analytics Workspace, and TM1.
  • Knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Podman.
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Report writing, cube building, and analysis experience with Cognos.
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry and BCBST's basic business operations.
