Position Overview:
The Logistics Clerk plays a crucial role in the efficient management of materials within our organization. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.
- Receiving and Issuing: Responsible for the accurate receiving, issuing, and counting of materials within designated areas such as Parts, Packaging, Supply, or the Garage.
- Data Entry: Entering transfer information between warehouse locations into our inventory management system.
- Material Handling: Engaging in the physical handling of materials, which includes conducting cycle counts, receiving shipments, unloading, issuing, and transferring materials using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Conducting regular inventory counts and audits, driving inventory replenishment, and ensuring that required inventory levels are maintained.
- Packing and Maintenance: Responsible for packing goods and performing both routine and emergency maintenance tasks as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Verifying incoming deliveries, performing inventory checks on trailers, and conducting quality assessments on stored materials.
- Certifications: A valid forklift license and pallet jack certification are required for this role.
- Training: Familiarity with Oracle Modules is essential for effective performance in this position.
