Eventide Senior Living Communities is seeking a skilled LPN Med/Surgical Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working PM shifts. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' needs and health status through regular assessments, observations, and interviews.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote residents' independence and quality of life.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and address resident needs.
- Document resident care and progress accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Participate in orientation and training of new team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Communicate resident needs and concerns to Charge Nurses and attending physicians, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Monitor and maintain adequate staffing levels, addressing any shortages or concerns.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering open communication and collaboration among team members.
Requirements:
- Active ND LPN licensure or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required.
