Job Overview

Verdugo Restaurant Corporation is seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year previous experience as a prep or line cook is required.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to execute high-volume, large-scale event orders.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including most weekends and nights.
